APEM Treasurer Post

Dear APEM members,

Nominations are being sought for the role of treasurer, APEM.

Essential criteria– APEM member, active role in paediatric emergency medicine, good interpersonal skills, good organizational skills.

This role involves keeping accounts of income and expenditure for APEM and facilitating payments. An annual tax return is needed – this involves reporting annual income and expenditure only. The post holder is supported by the Chair and works closely with the Secretary to all members are paying and anyone paying is a member. The post holder will part of the executive committee and so have an active involvement in discussions of APEM, promoting excellence, training and research in Paediatric Emergency Medicine. They will be expected to attend APEM meetings at least twice a year including an annual general meeting held as part of the RCEM conference, where an overview of the financial position of the organization will be given The successful applicant will be approved by the APEM executive committee and once notified, it will be announced on the APEM website.
