Paediatric Emergency Medicine National Trainees Conference

 

There is an annual PEM Trainees Conference, which has been a popular event for several years. In addition to the excellent educational content, the conference has provided an opportunity for trainees from different regions to meet, and for trainees to deliver poster and oral presentations to showcase local work.

The conference has been run by trainees and was most recently held in Cardiff in July 2019. The 2020 event in Yorkshire unfortunately had to be cancelled due to Covid-19 restrictions. No date has been set for a 2021 Trainee Conference yet, as decisions are still being made about how best to continue this event in the future. The PEMISAC committee will ensure any plans are communicated to trainees with plenty of notice.
